Advanced Responsible Service of Alcohol now on offer!

SGILS now have on offer our 'Advanced RSA' course for establishments wishing to up skill their team.

Most employers will require an RSA certificate as a pre requisite for employment.

• Legal requirements of the sale and service of alcohol in Victoria
• Harm minimisation and duty of care
• Anticipating problems and managing patrons
• Assess and monitor the levels of intoxication of patrons
• Advise patrons on standard drinks and the effects of alcohol.

• Alignment of local council laws and policies.

• Drink spiking

• Effects of various spirits and pre-mixed drinks.

• Peer group pressure.

Upon successful completion of this course participants receive a Statement of Attainment for “Responsible Service of Alcohol” THHBFB09B as part of Certificate II in Hospitality Operations. In addition a VICTORIAN accredited 'Liquor Licensing' RSA Certificate is issued.

This course is recognised under the Australian Quality Training Framework, VETAB and SGILS is accredited by the Director of Liquor Licensing, Consumer Affairs Victoria, to deliver the Responsible Serving of Alcohol Workshops.
